Mr Bob Bailey
Chairman of Trustees
Bob, a banker for 30 years, latterly working on the Channel Tunnel project. He then ran his own business, taught at the Canterbury Business School, was project director for International Power Sources Symposium and an inspector of higher and further education. He has also given time to charity work in Romania. He is a member of All Saints Church.

Mrs Judith Goode
Trustee and visitor
Judy has been an almshouse trustee since 2012 and is the Haven Homes visitor. She taught for 26 years in Primary Schools in London, Sussex and Kent. Judy has lived in Crowborough since 1978. She is a trustee of Crowborough Community Church.

Mrs Rosemary Clark
Trustee and visitor
Rosemary is a Guy’s Hospital-trained nurse. Before retiring, she worked for 21 years as a practice nurse. For the past 15 years she has worked for the local almshouses as a trustee. She is a member of All Saints Church.

Mr Robert Livett
Trustee
Born in Herefordshire, Rob has spent his adult life ‘down South’. A career banker, he retired after 33 years to become administrator at All Saints Church. He is a keen cricketer, and more recently has dabbled with sailing, bee keeping and tracing his ancestry.

Mr Rupert Cole
Clerk to the Charity
Chartered accountant with private and public company senior management experience in technology and energy sectors, with emphasis on governance, external relationships and funding. He has significant property experience, focusing on environmental impact and occupant welfare issues.

Mrs Shona McKenzie
Trustee and visitor
Shona has lived in Crowborough for seven years and regularly attends All Saints Church and participates in several groups. She is a retired nurse, also a wife, mother and grandmother. Hobbies include dog walking, gardening, swimming and reading.

Mr Anthony Youlton
Trustee
After training as a software engineer I had a career in IT and then HR across multiple industries before retiring. My interests include playing 5-a-side football and golf, walking our dogs and reading WWII history. I also enjoy attending Chelsea Women’s football matches to improve my skills. Anthony is a member of All Saints Church.

Mrs Gillian Morris
Hon. Secretary
After working in the Charity Commission, Gillian volunteered as a parochial church council secretary and as a school governor while bringing up her family. Gillian is director of a small property business.

Mr Jon Etheridge
Property Manager
An assorted career has seen Jon working in retail; catering; distribution; dairying; construction; decorating; local government and the Anglican Church. His interests include many sporting activities such as cricket, snooker and badminton. Jon has a season ticket for West Ham United.

Mr Nigel Piper
Trustee
Born in Singapore, Nigel arrived in the UK in 1970 and finally settled in Crowborough in 1987. He runs his own e-mail marketing company specialising in employee benefits. Nigel is a member of All Saints Church.

Mrs Janice Begbie
Trustee
Janice was a member of the diplomatic service and has served in the Middle East, China, Africa and Turkey covering a range of jobs both overseas and in London. She has lived in Crowborough for 18 years and is a member of St John’s Church. She has a son and daughter and 4 grandchildren. She is a keen bridge player and is a member of the Tunbridge Wells Bridge Club.

Mr James Stevens
Trustee
After training as a Quantity Surveyor, I worked for large construction companies before heading our family building company until my recent retirement. I am a member of St John’s church, being actively involved with the services, and also helping the PCC with building and maintenance issues. I enjoy golf, and hold a season ticket for Chelsea Football Club now my playing days are over!
